Macmahon has established a strong reputation within the resources sector, with surface mining operations in Australia and Southeast Asia. Since winning our first mining contract in 1967, Macmahon has continued to grow our surface mining operations. Today, our commodities include gold, copper, nickel, coal and mineral sands.
Full-service underground mining capability
Macmahon provides development and production, ground support, and services to facilitate ventilation and access to underground mines, including shaft sinking, raise drilling and shaft lining. Macmahon acquired the GBF Underground Mining business in 2019 and now provides services through both the Macmahon and GBF brands.
